Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 7 (PARP7), also known as ARTD14 or TIPARP, is a mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase (MART) that plays roles in transcriptional regulation, immune response modulation, and cellular stress responses. It catalyzes mono(ADP)-ribosylation using NAD+ as a substrate and is predominantly nuclear. PARP7's role in cancer appears context-dependent, with evidence suggesting both tumor suppressor and promoter functions.
